Standard Paint

The SneakArts paints work on many surfaces such as :

- Leather and faux leather

- Suede and nubuck

- Fabric, canvas and mesh

- Wood and paper

- Resin and plastic

Note : always make sure to prepare the surface before applying the paint.

With a 30mL paint you can completely paint around 2 to 3 shoes or sneakers, from 1 to 2 bags depending on the size. For a leather jacket or a large surface, use a 100ml paint.

If you are doing customizations or restorations, you can use the paint many times.

If you use stencils, you can easily paint 100 to 200 designs.

Yes, the SneakArts paint is a permanent paint with a very high resistance. The paint is waterproof and does not crack or peel over time.

For best results, make sure to follow the preparation steps carefully.

For the paint to stick to leather it is important to prepare the leather.

Remove the factory finish or dusts from the surface of the leather with a cotton pad and the preparer (deglazer) before applying paint.

On sensitive area, grained or soft leathers. Sand the leather with a 400 sandpaper.

For imitation leather, sand first and then gently clean the dust with the deglazer and a cotton pad.

To paint on leather for the best results, clean and prepare the leather before applying the paint in thin layers to prevent the paint from cracking or peeling.

Once your customization is done, add a finisher 24 hours later.

The paint can be applied directly to textile without adding paint additives.

First make an undercoat of white to obtain beautiful colors and avoid smudging. Always apply thin layers and allow the paint to dry between each coat.

To make a stencil without burrs, apply an undercoat of textile primer.

No need to heat the paint to make it stick to the fabrics. We recommend applying a coat of finisher to keep the colors vibrant over time.

Yes SneakArts paint can be diluted with water to thin paint, dye suede and fabric, or delay drying time.

- 5 to 20% for leather if you want to thin the paint

- 20 to 80% water for the fabric

- 80% to dye suede and nubuck

All SneakArts paints can be mixed together to create new colors.

SneakArts does not recommend mixing with other paints or other primers / mediums.

SneakArts paints work great with Airbrushing and can be thinned with water if you need to thin them out.

To avoid clogging your Airbrush, avoid using glitter and phosphorescent paints.

To clean your Airbrush you can use water only.

To seal the paint onto leather and make the paint last, apply a matte or glossy finisher to protect the paint and keep beautiful colors over time.

Wait 24 hours before applying the finisher in thin layers.

SneakArts paint is waterproof, rainproof, and your shoes can even be washed with soap and other products without alcohol or nail polish remover.

Yes, SneakArts paint, once applied to leather or fabrics and dry, can resist to washing and water.

We advise you to clean the leather with a brush and a cleaning product without solvent or alcohol.

For fabrics or canvas, we recommend cold washing (30°C or hand cleaning).

To make the paint stick on fabric, no need to heat the paint with an iron, you can simply add a coat of finisher to keep the colors vibrant.
