FAQs
What materials does paint work on ?
The paint works on leather, but can also be applied to fabric parts, midsoles, and synthetic parts.
To maintain the fabric's suppleness, dilute the paint with 50% water or more.
To revive the color of suede, use dyes.
How much paints for my sneakers ?
To paint or dye a complete pair, 30mL is enough to repair 5 pairs of sneakers.
How to prepare your sneakers before painting them ?
Before applying paint to your collectible sneakers, clean and prepare the surface with leather stripper.
Make sure the surface is completely dry, then apply the paint in 2 to 3 thin coats.
Once finished, you can apply a matte varnish or a glossy varnish for added protection if you're refinishing patent leather.
Can I mix the paint ?
Yes, all of our paints are intermixable. Depending on the edition of your sneakers, it may be necessary to slightly adjust the shade or use a closer color.
How do I find the color of my sneakers ?
You can use our online tool to get an idea of which SneakArts colors to mix to find the perfect shade.
SneakArts cannot guarantee a 100% match with just 2 or 3 colors. Please feel free to contact us via the website chat if you have any questions or concerns.
Paint or Dye ?
The paint can be used on leather, fabric, midsoles, and other parts of the sneaker. Always prepare your sneakers before applying the paint.
The dye can be used on suede or nubuck. Brush the shoe once the dye is dry to restore a soft finish.
