What paint to use on faux leather ?
If you want to paint on faux leather, use SneakArts paint which remains flexible and water resistant. Whether it is to change the color or customize faux leather and synthetic leathers.
How to paint on faux leather ?
Before painting on imitation leather or synthetic leather, prepare the surface with 400 or 600 grit sandpaper and remove the dust with a clean cloth.
Then apply the paint in thin layers for a perfect result.
Once the paint is completely dry, wait 24 hours and apply a varnish.
Caution : be careful if you use stripper or acetone, so as not to damage the synthetic leather.
How to protect paint on faux leather ?
Once the paint is dry, you can protect the color on the faux leather by applying a finishing varnish the next day.
