Metallic Paint

A metallic paint is a paint that uses special pigments to provide a shiny metallic effect on your creations.

Metallic paint works on leather and textile, but also on wood or plastic or metal.

Each material requires a different preparation or the use of primer for optimal adhesion. Go to the FAQ to learn more.

To create your own metallic paint, mix any classic paint with the white silver paint from the range.

You can also mix the other metallic paints to obtain the shiny effect that you like.

Prepare the surface beforehand for optimal adhesion using the stripper and a cotton pad or sandpaper.

Apply 3 thin coats of metallic paint on white or black depending on the desired result.

Apply a glossy or matte varnish to add protection.

No need for preparation on textile.

Apply 2 to 3 coats of metallic paint then apply 2 to 3 coats of glossy or matte varnish to protect the pigment.

To apply metallic paint with an airbrush, dilute the paint with 10-20% water to achieve the texture you like.
