FAQ
With SneakArts paints, you can easily use an airbrush to create solid fills, gradients, stencils, and fine details. Here are our recommendations:
- Use a 0.5 mm nozzle and a pressure of around 2 bar (30 PSI) for stencils, solid fills, and color gradients. If necessary, thin the paint with a small amount of water until you achieve the desired spray pattern.
- For fine details and precision work, use a 0.2 mm or 0.3 mm nozzle with a pressure between 1 and 1.5 bar (15–22 PSI). We recommend diluting the paint with 20–50% water.
- Always perform a test spray beforehand to check the dilution and pressure settings.
- Keep the airbrush moving at all times to avoid paint buildup and runs.
- Always apply several thin coats rather than one thick coat.
- Clean your airbrush regularly and never allow paint to dry inside it to prevent clogging.
Yes, SneakArts paints work very well with an airbrush and can be diluted with water if you want a more fluid consistency (10–50% water).
Only Metallic and Chameleon Paints require dilution with 10–15% water and regular airbrush cleaning to prevent clogging.
To clean your airbrush, use water or a suitable airbrush cleaner.
