Which finisher to chose for leather ?
There are two types of leather finisher : matte and glossy. Choose matte leather finisher if you want to have a natural effect, and use the glossy finisher if you want a glossy effect.
How to protect leather paint ?
To protect the paint on leather shoes, bags or furniture, you need to apply a finisher also called top coat.
How to apply the leather finisher ?
The leather finisher can be applied with a brush or airbrush. Apply two to three thin layers 24 hours after applying the paint.
Let the finisher dry between each coat for 30 seconds to 1 minute using a hair dryer, or 5 to 10 minutes naturally.
How to create a paint ?
You can use the finisher as a neutral paint and mix it with your own pigments to create a paint.
The ratio we recommend is 70% finisher and 30% pigment to keep the paint flexible and resistant.
On which material can I use the finisher ?
The finisher is designed for leather, but it also works on fabric. Apply the finisher on fabric to keep vibrant colors over time.
For wood, plastics or metal use a special finisher for best results.
