Her beginnings in art
Marieke is a self-taught artist who has always nurtured her creativity alongside her career in the police. Passionate about craftsmanship and authentic materials, she initially specialized in creating leather goods, before expanding her universe to customizing sneakers, clothing, and textiles.

In her studio in Arnhem, Marieke offers unique workshops where creativity takes center stage. With the bead embroidery brooch workshop, you learn to create a refined brooch measuring 3 to 4 cm, choosing your own beads and colors for an elegant result. During the "Pimp je Gymp" workshop, she guides you through the customization of your own sneakers using SneakArts paints, giving them a new life full of style and personality. You can also join a textile customization workshop, where Marieke introduces you to dyeing and decorating your clothes, allowing you to transform forgotten pieces into unique creations.
