Step-by-Step Guide

STEP 1

Prep the fabric

Make sure your item is clean. We recommend washing it once to get rid of dust and factory finish. 

Place a rigid surface under the fabric to prevent paint from bleeding through and to make painting easie

STEP 2

Apply a white base coat

Create your design using tracing or stencils, then apply a thin white base coat to achieve vibrant colors, especially on dark fabrics.

STEP 3

Add the color

Once the white base coat is dry, you can add the colors of your choice. We recommend 2 to 3 thin layers for best results.

STEP 4

Protect the paint

Once completely dry, you can add a thin layer of glossy or matte finisher for extra protection.
