How to use the tool ?
The Color Mixer helps you find which paints to use to recreate a specific shade based on SneakArts colors.
You can get the color in several ways :
- Upload an image from your computer or phone, then click on the area of the image that contains the desired color.
- Enter the hexadecimal code directly.
- Pick the color in the color picker by clicking the square next to the color code. Once the color is chosen, click “Get mix”.
Is the tool accurate ?
Yes, the tool is quite accurate and very helpful, but it cannot guarantee a 100% match. Expect a margin of error of around 3–5%.
This margin of error depends on several factors :
- The imported photo may appear warmer or cooler depending on lighting conditions. A photo taken in sunlight or yellow light will look warmer (yellow/orange/red), while one taken in the shade or white light will appear cooler (blue/gray).
- Depending on the area selected, you may get slightly different color codes each time.
- SneakArts paint color codes can’t perfectly match real colors, even if measured with a spectrophotometer.
